Phase 1

• replacement of the Franklin Blvd bridge
• some work at the Franklin Blvd interchange
• municipal illumination on Franklin Blvd

Phase 2

• widening of Highway 401 to ten lanes (including HOV lanes)
• reconstruction of the Highway 401 interchanges at Franklin Blvd and Hespeler Rd
• replacement of the Hespeler Rd bridge, and retaining walls as needed
• expansion of the commuter parking lot at the Townline Rd interchange
• drainage improvements
• illumination
• overhead signs and traffic signals

A section of new noise wall is proposed along the south side of Highway 401, west of Franklin Blvd
